I have covered this visit properly. I have made videos on all the developments that have happened in the Quad, but in this particular video, we will talk about Mohammad Yunus, who reached the US after PM Modi left and he was given a hero’s welcome in the United States. The US President is showing a lot of affection to the current US President Mohammad Yunus, and the Clinton Foundation, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton’s foundation, have also given Mohammad Yunus a separate honour.

Whatever Bangladesh was there before has been reset. Now a new Bangladesh will be created.
The western audience was told that the people who have come to power in Bangladesh now are very good, freedom friendly people. Bangladesh has reset again, now Bangladesh will remain the best friend of USA. I talked to the Chief of the World Bank. I will not be surprised again if the US takes big steps to boost Bangladesh’s economy because the way it is invested right now in the current government, the way their government is running right now, they are the best people to have very good relations with Bangladesh.
And the most interesting thing here was that the only person who did not meet Biden was Bill Clinton, the former President of USA, Bill Clinton has been a very famous President.
When the Kargil war took place between India and Pakistan, Bill Clinton was the President of the USA. Today, the Democrat Party of the USA is led by Joe Bide, Kamala Harris, Barack Obama. Bill Clinton is a very powerful leader there. Bill Clinton had formed the Clinton Foundation many years ago and under the same Clinton Foundation works the Clinton Global Initiative. You can say, a separate wing of the US government is running which holds a lot of power globally.
So, they also organized an award function and invited Joe Bide there and said, thank you Joe Bide, you showed complete selflessness and created a place for Kamala Harris. On this very thing, this award is made with the letter C because my name starts with C, Clinton, so you will also get this award. Mohammad Yunus introduces those people from the US audience who played the main role in the recent coup in Bangladesh. There is applause for them. I have never seen so much respect for any Bangladeshi leader in the US. They are getting a hero’s welcome.
Mohammad Yunus will introduce those leaders in the US that look, these are the leaders who will create a new Bangladesh and they brought about a revolution in Bangladesh and they said that it was so easy that it happened suddenly, a lot of design and planning went into it, now it is right, they are celebrating, I think the US is celebrating, the new leadership of Bangladesh is celebrating, for the US as I had said earlier also that this is a very big diplomatic victory for them and I think since the birth of Bangladesh, for the first time a very pro-US government has come into existence.
What will this new Bangladesh be like? What kind of an event will happen? The whole discussion started a long time ago about whether a US military base would be built or not because now there has been a huge change in the relations between the two countries and both countries are openly presenting this to the world that now we are best friends and the US will provide full, unconditional support to Bangladesh in every aspect.
So, will there be a military angle to this? What impact is it going to have on the region, this remains to be seen. For now, we are just seeing the beginning of something new. The US has made them proud.
No mention of Bangladeshi Hindus!
Now, how this new Bangladesh will be, we will have to see. This will be very interesting to see. But one thing is for sure that in this new Bangladesh, minority rights will not be respected much. Its indication is clearly visible because when Mohammad Yunus reached USA, many Bangladeshi nationals themselves protested saying, go back, step down, minorities are being attacked. The Hindus in Bangladesh have been attacked a lot. Neither the US said anything about this, nor did Mohammad Younis say anything. India has said from its side. The Indian government has said that the issue of Bangladesh was raised with the USA.
But overall for now the US and Bangladesh are celebrating, we have to see what will happen in the next 6 months, this is a very interesting geo-political development.
