After the language he used in this regard for France, Emmanuel Macron also took a U-turn and France had to say that France is Israel’s friend, but then he further said that the infrastructure and civilians in Lebanon have suffered a lot of damage.
There are many countries in Europe that have stood up against Israel. The reason is very simple. There have been a lot of civilian deaths and they have already destroyed the top leadership of Hezbollah in Lebanon. So after this, many European countries are saying that Israel should now declare ceasefire in Lebanon. That’s why Emmanuel Macron wants ceasefire, but Israel’s way of working is different.
