As soon as the report came in that he is unwell and something may happen here, Ratan Tata tweeted that you should not worry about me, and literally as a humble human being who did not want anyone to worry thinking about him, he said that thank you for thinking about me, there is no cause of concern, you guys should not worry.
This was his last tweet because after two days, due to old age, his health suddenly deteriorated and he died in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. Ratan Tata’s life of 86 years was such that in it, he achieved so much that whoever is writing about him today, whatever tributes are being written about him, they are also mentioning his journey.
When the Prime Minister of the country wrote this tweet about him, he said that Shri Ratan Tata ji was a visionary business leader, a compassionate soul. Everyone is saying this about him, business leader obviously he was one of a kind. That means if I ask you a question once, what was India’s most valuable brand in 2024, then do you know what the correct answer is, the correct answer is here, Tata.
If you look at the last several years, whenever reports are published, whenever research is done, it is found that there is no dearth of brands in India. One is Jamshed ji Tata, who founded the Tata Group, and his grandson Ratan Tata. I would say that both of them have made the biggest contribution in making India’s most valuable brand. And these people did not become India’s most valuable brand just like that.

Ratan Tata led the Tata Group from 1991 to 2012. In between, there was a controversy regarding Cyrus Misri. After Cyrus Misri stepped down, Ratan Tata again led the Tata Group for 1 year. He also played a critical role in taking the Tata Group in the right direction.
All the 26 publicly listed companies of the Tata Group. I am not talking about the private companies which are their publicly listed companies. If you look at the combined market cap of all of them, you will get the amount of 365 billion US dollars. This is a much bigger amount than the nominal GDP of many countries. This was the impact of Ratan Tata as an industrialist.
Now you can understand how big a thing it is that on one hand you are such a big industrialist, you have led such a big group, but even then when you die, people write that he was a compassionate soul and let me tell you in this life, Amplica was able to achieve so much in professional life, but even then when people remember you, people will say what a humble man he was, what a compassionate man he was, he was an extraordinary human being.

When the Tata Group was just at $5 billion, under Ratan Tata, it went from $5 billion to $100 billion, but even then Ratan Tata never lost his humidity and even today when google2 Pichai writes about Ratan Tata, he says that my last meeting was with Ratan Tata at Google’s vision and one line about him is to be noted here, he deeply cared about making India better, even then I would say that as an industrialist, he was phenomenal, his results are in front of you, you will hardly find any chairman in the group whose impact has been so big that he can take a group from $5 billion to $100 billion directly.

And if you look at the personal life of Ratan Tata, he was a very honest person who could express his emotions openly, it was clear from that too that he did not have any pride at all that he has to wear a mask in front of the world or not, I am Ratan Tata, I have to be this way.

His story is also amazing, his marriage got almost done because of the India-China war of 1962. When he was studying in the US, at that time he fell in love with an American woman and he was about to get married to her.

And due to this, Ratan Tata’s marriage could not happen at that time and the event got married, but today the whole of India is remembering him as SRO family member.
