PM Modi Or Jaishankar Go To Pakistan-SCO Summit ?

Prime Minister Modi gets an invitation from Pakistan to attend the SCO summit (Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit) which is going to be hosted by Pakistan. The leadership of Russia and China will also come here. Leaders from many countries will also come.

So Pakistan is saying that on behalf of India, it wants PM Modi to represent India in this summit.
Again, Pakistan’s invitation is quite bold, especially at a time when there have been continuous terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and India-Pakistan relations, if we look at it overall, have not been normalized at all. Our cricket teams also do not play baseball series. So the Prime Minister of India’s visit to Pakistan is not right.

This looks very unlikeable but the question here is that if PM Modi will not go to Pakistan, does it mean that Dr. S.J. Shankar will go to Pakistan?

What is the future of these two groups, SO and BRICS, because many times people get confused between SO and BRICS.

All these countries are the founding members of BRICS. Later, obviously many more members have also been added to BRICS recently, but these five countries are predominantly the founding members of BRICS.

Since 2023, a geopolitical theory has become very famous. It is that in the coming 5 years, assuming that 2024 is going on, there is a possibility that around 2028-29, BRICS and SO will merge and an attempt will be made to form a new international group which will challenge even the UN.

Because literally if you look at SCO, where is the headquarter of SCO? In Beijing. Yes, the name of the group may be SEO Shanghai Corporation Organization, but its headquarter is in the capital of China, Beijing.

Whereas the headquarter of BRICS is in the Chinese city of Shanghai. So the headquarter of both the groups is also in China. The two major countries promoting both the groups are China and Russia.

Indian Experts Indian geopolitical experts believe that BRICS and SCO will be merged to form a single group so that a powerful group emerges where many countries are members and doing all this will be quite natural because look, BRICS and SCO are two different groups but both get financial backing from China and Russia.

So there is definitely a possibility that both the groups will unite in the future and if you look at USA from its side, their media is assuming that even China will try to merge these two groups to form an anti-US group and again do not assume that this is what we have to call a geopolitical think tank in India, recently in 2023, the President of Kazakhstan also said the same thing that there is a need to unite the efforts of BRICS and SCO.

You will see that this voice will keep increasing in the coming times and I would say for the USA it is no less than a nightmare because there are many countries that want to join BRICS.

You will know that recently Iran had joined SO, tomorrow many countries like Malaysia, Thailand, South American countries, if all of them join BRICS and later a single group is formed by combining SCO and BRICS, then it will be a very very powerful group, it will have many members, Russia, China can make a payment system according to their own, many changes can happen.

And therefore, you must have also seen that CNA, which is an American media, this CNA article is in front of you, these people are saying that there is a growing club led by Seizing Ping and Putin, this is being formed to counter USA and very soon they will add one more pro-Russia member here, of course they are talking about Belarus here and in this article you must note one thing, it is written that PM Modi had skipped the recent SCO summit, yes, the SCO summit that was recently held in Kazakhstan, you must have noticed that PM Modi had skipped this summit.

Jaishankar sahab had gone to represent India. Now the summit which is being hosted by Pakistan is different. The summit which will be hosted by Pakistan is the SCO’s CHG summit, which means Council of Heads of Government summit.

PM Modi usually attends this summit, so I was not that surprised about the Kazakhstan summit which he skipped. Here we have to see whether PM Modi skips Pakistan’s invitation because there are many reasons for skipping it.

First of all, see, cross border terrorism from Pakistan has not stopped. Secondly, I have been seeing year after year that Americans are becoming very sensitive about SO. Again, as and when the event takes place, you can call it a merger or you can call it uniting the powers of both the groups, you know.

Whatever you may say, SO and BRICS will gradually start working together as a group. The US is very nervous about this and India’s participation is not a big deal.

In the coming time, if you see the overall participation in this summit in this group gradually decreasing, then I will not be surprised if PM Modi does not attend this Pakistan summit of SCO or Jaishankar sahab may also not attend it.

Again, there is a possibility that he may not go there. Jaishankar Sahab is participating in that summit directly through video conferencing. And if Jaishankar Sahab goes to Pakistan, then when Bilawal Bhutto came to India, you must remember when the meeting of SO foreign ministers was held, there was so much controversy from India, Bilawal Bhutto and Pakistan’s side. You may see the same type of scene.

That S. Jaishankar is going to Pakistan, it will be very interesting to see. However, I will also say that you will see in Pakistan that many Pakistani politicians openly say that Pakistan needs a leader like Narendra Modi.
