Manmohan with Barak Obama

As the Prime Minister of India, I must also say that Dr. Manmohan Singh ji played a critical role in taking forward the India-US relations. He was a favourite of Barack Obama. Barack Obama has also written about him in his book that he had a very warm and productive relationship with Dr. Manmohan Singh ji. Obama respected him a lot and people used to say about Manmohan Singh ji that he remains quiet and does not speak much. When he used to speak, sometimes in the Parliament, there are some highlights of his career that whenever he spoke, thunderous applause was heard.

Today, our country’s current Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also tweeted that India has lost one of the most distinguished US leaders, Dr Manmohan Singh, rising from humble origins. Yes, he was not born in a rich family, he was born in very humble origins. He rose to become a respected economist literally across the world.

He was a respected economist, he served in various government positions as well, including the finance minister, leaving a strong imprint on our economic policies over the years. His interventions in the Parliament were also very insightful. As our Prime Minister, he made extensive efforts to improve people’s lives.

Exactly in this way people will remember him and these photos have also been posted by Narendra Modi ji, truly and an end of an era, a great end of an era and in this article.

Finally I will say here that if you want to compare anyone, you have to see what was their impact, what was their performance, along with that you should also see what resources they had, what was their political compulsion, what was the political environment at that time, what was the geo-political environment, what was the standing of India, then you will be able to properly understand how was his performance as a Prime Minister and overall I think we can all say again history will be kind to him.
